Mr. T. RAMACHANDRA REDDY

T. R. Reddy, migrated to the U.S. in 1968 and lives in Augusta GA. After obtaining a Master's degree in engineering, he spent a decade working for two Fortune 500 corporations. During this stint he company re-engineered several manufacturing processes and energy conservation projects and saved millions of dollars for these companies. With his background and experience, he ventured into his own (non-hi-tech) companies, Power Control Systems in 1980, and an associated company Powerline Inc. in 1985.

These companies were energy related, focusing on conservation and alternative energy. His companies were promoting the use of solar energy systems as far back as 1981. Both companies earned business league awards in 1990 and 1995 for community service.

Mr. Reddy is actively involved in the local Augusta community. He is a graduate of 1991 Leadership Augusta. He serves/d on the boards of Augusta Chamber of Commerce,Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, Easter Seals of America, University Hospital Foundation, St. Joseph Hospital Foundations, and the Augusta Convention and Visitors Bureau. He was part of the trade delegations with the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to three Central American countries in 1996 and to India in 1997. Mr. Reddy was appointed by the Governor of Georgia to the Georgia Medical Center Authority. Mr. Reddy currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Salvation Army, Augusta Covention and Visitors Bureau and is the Chairman of Trinity Hospital Board of Trustees. Mr Reddy is also a Rotarian.

He is a founding trustee of the Hindu Temple in Augusta (First Temple to be established in Southern USA, in 1979) and Venkateshwara temple and Vedic Centers in Atlanta.

Dr. Niranjini Reddy

Wife of Mr. Reddy, Mrs Niaranjini is a physician graduating from KMC, Warangal. She did her post graduation in Psychiatry at the University of Georgia and worked at the Medical center of the Veterans Administration for 20 years. Currently she is Associate professor at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta GA. She actively participates with her husband in charitable work in US as well as in India.
